Reports¶
Process automation generates a lot of data that can be very valuable in decision making, profitability, innovation, incremental improvements, and debugging. There is a lot of gains and insights to be had both on organisational level and in each specific processes - insights that can help you scale your automation and keep it profitable and stable.
Use reports to make your processes even better. Decide if edge cases are worth the work to automate. Get realtime KPI's that clearly shows how on point you are with the business cases of each automation.
Anymate captures data in:
- Amount of tasks through the system
- Paths that tasks take through each process
- Work time saved on each task depending on what happened
- Keys and Fields data
- User commands and actions
- Run schedules (when did the process run)
- Polling schedule (when did we last hear from a mate)
- Usage
Work time Saved
We advice to keep work time as effective work time meaning that if a run logs 3 hours of saved time, the run should have taken a skilled person 3 hours to do with the same output regarding both quality and quantity.
To translate this into gross man-years you should divide by a factor related to how much of a persons time is actually spend doing effective work. When removing vacation, sick leave, meetings, briefings, emails, phone calls, team building, breaks, workshops, Corona :(, you usually end up with a factor of 60% to 80% effective work.
If the report says 1000 hours saved, this translates into 1250 to 1666 gross hours. Finally you should divide by the gross man-year hours you are calculating with which varies from organisation to organisation.
