Reading the Overview

Stopping a Process

Under the tags you can see a button called Stop the Process. When you click it you can provide a small description so your colleagues also knows why it is stopped. Click the button Stop the Process now and watch the process be stopped in the overview.

Mates can also stop processes on their own. Usually it is if they encounter errors. If a process is stopped due to errors you should look into what the errors actually are and involve the Process Owner and Developer since it may be a bug or a break down.

There is nothing harmful about stopping processes: They can be started again just as easy.

You can do it if you know something that the Mate doesn't.

Starting the Process Again

When you want the process to open up again you simply bring down the menu by clicking on the Process Closed ribbon and click Resume Process.

In this menu you can also update the comment if you have new information you want to share.

What can cause a stop?

Obviously the arrival of Corona changed a lot of work flows very, very fast. From day to day, users of Anymate were briefed with new practices and demands on how to solve their tasks.

Suddenly you are ordered by management not to process a specific type of order, but you know that the Mate is going to do it in an hour. So you stop it and comment: "order from Management, awaiting" and thats it - crisis averted.

Tailor the Overview to fit you

You can customize how you see the Overview by changing the different options found at the top of the overview.

The default setting is pretty ok so if this parapraph is not vital in order to learn Anymate 😄

Changing team to see fewer processes

If you are a member of more teams than one, you can change which team you want to see in the top ribbon. If you choose All you will see all the processes together.

Pinning Processes

You can pin a process by pressing the pin in the to right corner of it. Pinned processes will be remembered even if you change computer. You can decide if your pinned processes should be on top by selecting pin on top 🗹 in the top right corner of the overview.

Use Pinned Processes to fix the most few on top of your overview.
