Get started to learn Anymate

Anymate is a way for you to work together with software robots.

here we call the robots Mates (as in automated) to not confuse them with actual robot arms building Tesla Cars. Developers can use a lot of different programs and technologies to automate stuff. To use Anymate you don't need to know any of these. You need to know exactly how you can use the different automations that your developers write.

Words we will use a lot

  • Mate: a software robot that can solve tasks
  • Process: one of your work flows, for instance 'send out billing'
  • Task: tasks are the actual work that flows through the processes, for instance Customer ID: 2213 needs to receive a bill for Order #: 422
  • Run: when a Mate comes in and works.

What can you do in Anymate?

  • Create tasks for the Mates to solve
  • Use queues to help the Mate with the stuff that it can't do
  • Monitor all your processes in one place at the overview
  • Change rules that the Mate use when working
  • Decide when Mates are allowed to work using calendar
  • Keep descriptions so you can remember what the different Mates are doing
